From the Oil Sands to the Gulf Coast: Top Compensation Issues Facing North American Energy Companies

Presented by Meridian Compensation Partners

From the oil sands to the Gulf Coast, energy companies are facing a rapidly evolving compensation landscape. As consolidation reshapes parts of the industry, commodity markets remain unpredictable, and geopolitical risks continue to influence business strategy, boards are being challenged to design compensation programs that motivate performance while managing risk. This session will explore the executive pay issues most relevant to North American energy companies, including balancing commodity price exposure in incentive plans, responding to changing market dynamics, and navigating evolving governance expectations.

Join us as we discuss emerging compensation trends, innovative incentive design practices, and the considerations shaping pay decisions across the energy sector.
